Was it moved from the old Ascential site or is it called something else now. Have looked in the Technical Library but could not find anything resembling a TX product to link.

The knowledge base was helpful in that there were real application issues and how to solve them with TX, it also contained possible bugs and solutions or patches.

Would like to search the knowledge base for issues in calculating an age, if the birth date and current date are available and converted to number of days using DATETONUMBER, but would like the somehow add in logic to check for how many leap years between the birth date and current date in order to get an exact age calculated.

Possibly someone has a canned rule already that does this which would be great but would still like to know where the knowledge base link is now.

    Thanks!

You can search for techdocs there but they do not contain the same information that was at the old site. More will be published as time goes on.

Went to that link but anything searched on basically just returns Release documentation if anything, can you ask them to put the old Ascential link up while they migrate.

This same thing happened when TX went from Mercator to Ascential, it took about 3 months to get the knowledge base back, what is so hard about taking the content and rebranding the page with the IBM logos. Yes you have to convert it to your database standards and all that but this is IBM, have worked for them in the past and they do have that capability.

Trying to keep a product in the forefront and advertise new releases and software is not being helped when existing developers need tools and the like from previous entities, that are not being migrated in a timely fashion.

The old word of mouth advertising is the best and this does not help.

Please excuse the software venting above but anything you can do to expedite the migration would be a great help.

    Thanks!
