    Removal of support for Monitor P - Data gathering for SMF record producer instances

    What is being removed or changed

    z/OS 3.2 is planned to be the last z/OS release to provide support for Monitor P. Monitor P's original intention was to assist with collection of SMF data.

    Required customer migration or upgrade actions

    For use cases that require a more flexible way to write SMF data, available services such as SMFWTM and __smf_record() can be utilized as alternatives.

    First Failure Support Technology (FFST)

    z/OS 3.2 is planned to be the last release to support FFST.
