Do we really need Lockfile to be created …?
Its just a 0kb file with two newline characters in it…
Okay…lockfile is used to make sure that only single instance of the IS is running…“Following Single Design pattern”
If im not wrong it is possible to change the setting in the server.bat file…and we can create as many instances we want…
So…wht will that lead to…? ----> Inconsistancy…?
Is IS designed to run as a single instance…? —> Why?
And wht if i use multiple instance of the IS…wht part do i need to take care…to run ti smoothly…?
Can someone through some light no this…
