This is the only forum for discussing open technology and open source, so here goes. If there is a better or additional forum, please move or cross-post this thread.
In December 2021, the Linux Foundation published an article I wrote on how to get stared with a version of Linux that runs as a screensaver for Microsoft Windows. The article is here Linux as a Screensaver for Windows: The Gift of Open Source Games and SBOMs for the Holidays - Linux.com

Abstract: Construct and package a Linux® Live DVD to install using the standard Microsoft® Windows® install process and operate as a classic Windows screensaver. Introduction Back in 2005, IBM wanted to promote Linux, so developerWorks was offering $1000 per article to IBMers who wrote articles for the Linux Zone.

Now, Red Hat have published the zip files for these screensavers here https://people.redhat.com/chward/QemuSaverOpen/ for public download. I feel the demand for these could be rather large !

The screensavers are 100% Open Source, and there is a script in my public github repository https://github.com/tjcw/screensavers which will fetch it all from the public Internet.

By all means take, install, and use these screensavers for whatever purpose you deem appropriate. And let the discussion begin.
