Hi @lisa leyser,
I've researched this request and it looks like you're trying to activate a second Trial license on this same machine. Statistics Subscription Trial licenses can only be used for 30 days in every 365 days.
You've said you have created a new account through your school. If you are now trying to use your Organization's license to IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription, then at some point the administrator at your organization would have needed to add your IBMid to their license. Right now, the logs on the IBM SPSS side are indicating an attempt to activate a Trial license on a machine that has already run the Trial.
At this point there are two ways for you to get IBM SPSS Statistics Suscription up and running on this laptop:
- Purchase a Statistics Subscription license yourself privately.
- Follow up with your organization and pursue getting your IBMid added to their existing Statistics Subscription license.
I hope this helps!

Subject: License Issue
Hello. I had previously had a trial open through IBM. Worked great, never had any trouble. When the trial ended, I created an account through my school. I was not able to log in. I uninstalled and reinstalled the SPSS Statistics Program and then when I tried to log in with my new account was given a notice that said I could not use the program on the same computer. I have open cases for support and even have an open escalation case (which is not at all helpful). I seem to just be getting a run around and told to search for the solution myself. If anyone knows how I can fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. All I know is it is a license issue but unsure as to why. Thanks
