    Hi venkata,

You can configure but using custom LDAP settings, that is,you need to provide all the parameters (the sames to Active Directory 2003)

I don't find official support document for WebSphere Application Server only for WebSphere Portal 6.1, but some clients have done the configuration working find without problems.

System Requirements for WebSphere Application Server V6.1 on Windows
      www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=s...

"For the LDAP servers not listed above that support the LDAP V3 specification, you will need to configure the LDAP server using a custom LDAP feature with appropriate objectclass and attribute mappings that you need to obtain from your LDAP vendor."

WebSphere Portal V6.1.0.2 hardware and software requirements - Microsoft Windows
      www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=s...

     hope this helps.

    regards
