For larger scale deployment ( a couple of physical hosts each having 40-50 JVMs in vertcal clusterd) the recommended app deployment is still the zip-ped runtime + application through the console or to reduce footprint just have the runtime installed on each hosts 'federated' into the collective controller (like addnode on ND) and just manually copy over the new war files when a full war file deployment needed?
