Hi All
Is it possible to distinguish between language and regional settings like data formats in PAW?
In other words, is it possible to let PAW use the windows (regional setting) data formats for numbers?
Why am I asking for this?By default, most desktops in Iceland are in English but the regional data format is European, using the Comma "," (##.##0,00) for decimal and dd.MM.yyyy for the date. Sadly, most browsers do not distinguish between language and region, only offering the language setting. In my case, by default, the PAW displays the US data format for numbers (##,##0.00) which then does not match the regional format on my desktop. This means that it is impossible for example to copy and paste data between PAW and Excel. I am then forced to set the browser to the Icelandic language for this purpose. Our company policy is to have all written communication in English but the regional data format should not change regardless of the language.
The image below shows my default windows language and regional settings.
