    Hi,
    Who is out there using Maximo with a KKS Identification System, I'm guessing there must be lots?

    Just looking to gain more knowledge on the practical side of things, like creating the hierarchies, do you use the MIF, and if KKS is used for the location code, what do you use for the asset number?

    Is there anyone out there that has used a hybrid of KKS and another system?

    Any info would be useful.

    KKS is in use at Meridian Energy in NZ.  This is used for the locations and asset are simply auto-numbered.  They do certainly use the MIF.

    Hi Craig,
    I'm really just looking for examples of KKS hierarchies and any hints about getting them set up. We are a site that use a coding system that was created by the CEGB (central electricity generating board) and I understand the logic and issues we have had setting them up in Maximo. Just looking to understand KKS and any pitfalls etc. setting up the hierarchy.
