Can we edit jms.cnf file manually?
Reason - I created a new JNDI alias and a new jms connection corresponding to that but in jms.cnf I can see
    value name=“providerName”>(Not Connected). please suggest.

    Thanks
    Vivek

You shouldn’t. Create JMS connection along with JNDI through IS admin page, and have it enabled without error. This will write the entry of JMS into the cnf file
