Connecting javaApp to Db2 for z/OS v11…

 

In version 4.19, I see the maxTransportObjects default = 1000. 

 

What I'd like to know is, what is the upper limit of the maxTransportObjects property?  I've cruised through a bunch of documentation and can't find an upper limit for the property.

 

Can anyone help here?

Hi Jonathan,
I would expect the upper limit to be unlimited ( -1 ).
Based on Adrian Burke (DB2 for z/OS SWAT team ) the default used to be Unlimited, now the default is 1000.
There are some highly technical documents / presentations that try to explain the meaning of maxTransportObjects and similar parameters in more detail.
