  • 1.  JDBC Adapter Connection problem

    Posted 05/23/08 07:28 AM

    Hi
I am trying to enable the JDBC Adapter after having configured it.
I even restarted the integration server but i am still getting error msgs…

    1)unable to configure connection manager

2)Cannot connect to database with data source Oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource

    3)Listener refused the connection

All these error msgs are being displayed in the error log.
Pls let me know how can i solve this issue?

Check whether the listner for the database is up or not.
Check also whether you are giving valid user name or password.

Also check if you have zip files (classe12.zip or ojdbc.jar) at the correct path.

Ask the DB guy whether the listener for the particular database is up or not.

The problem was with the Database ie Oracle. Some changes had been made to it which affected the JDBC Adapter configuration.

    Mallika:

How did you configure the JDBC adapter? I’m using IS 7.1 and trying to install the component. I’m not seeing any JDBC adapter under the adapters section of the admin UI. I want to use the BatchInsertSQL feature and looks like it needs the adapter to be configured.
