  • 1.  JDBC Adapter 6.0.3

    Posted Tue April 13, 2004 11:24 AM

Just installed JDBC Adapter 6.0.3 to my IS 6.0.1 Sp2. At the same time I also installed MS SQL JDBC driver V2.2.

When I re-started the IS I got error message:
com.wm.pkg.art.error.DetailedServiceException: [ART.114.13] Adapter Runtime: Error occured while Adapter Runtime was loading adapter type “JDBCAdapter”.
[ART.114.9] Adapter Runtime: Error(s) while registering adapter type JDBCAdapter.

I removed all JDBC connections (only sandbox so a couple of connections only) and restarted the server, of course no error messages were encountered. I created a new conection, tried to activate it and got message:

Are you using Windows 2000/2003? Unless you are running on Windows XP, JDBC adapter 6.0.3 seems have some problem with Win2K/2003. My suggestion would be to revert to 6.0.2.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Trying to upgrade JDBC Adapter from version 6.0.2 to version 6.0.3 on Windows platform. For this to be done, the previous version needs to be uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs. But the JDBC Adapter is not displayed in the same for the installation to be done. Tried using webMethods installer 601, but it does not have any option to uninstall a product.

Pls. let me know if anybody has a solution to this problem.

    TIA,
    Sai Sekhar
