  • 1.  JCo Error when calling from SAP to invoke webMethods service

    Hi,

    When trying to test the “mapping inbound RFC to service” (Chapter 5 of the webMethods SAP R/3 Adapter user guide), the remote function call of the test function module (Z_B2B_PRODUCT) failed with the following short dump:

    JCO.Server could not create server function [some unknown characters]

    We’re using SAP Enterprise 4.7 with unicode. Does anyone have some ideas why this is happening?

    Yes, several things. Make sure you have the SAP adapter SP5. Make sure you have installed the latest version of the librfc32.dll, librfc32u.dll, and sapjcorfc.dll files and they must all be the same release level. Your issue is definitely a unicode related matter

    Hi,
    we are getting the same error when sending IDOC from SAP to webMethods 6.5 adapter connection:
    JCO.Server could not create server function [some unknown characters]

    Any idea on what may be the error.
