New version of Quip is able to perform Java functions calls. could you let me know where to find more information about that new feature.

There is a section “Can I Make Foreign Function Calls?” in the FAQ explaining how this feature works. An example is also provided in the folder examples/javaCalls.

You mean, your distribution is missing the files QuiP\doc\quip_faq\q_and_a.htm and QuiP\examples\javaCalls? They are part of the download.
