We are having issues using the JALE adapter on a new install of TX 9.0.0.0, to read data from our SAP R/3 system.
Everything as far as we can tell is set up correctly, the gateway, RFC instance is connected and working.
When we send a file from R/3 we get a m4trace file but it contains the following (extract) - so it implies data was transferred, but nothing arrives.
I am not sure why the idoc details are being displayed as ???? - it's a non-unicode system.
Any help appreciated.
Document Type Client Receiver Port Logical MSG Type Document Number Segment Count

RFC completed, 1 Idoc(s) received successfully from R/3.
