  • 1.  Issues with Spectre patch

    This seems to go against the release not that shows it's for lowest 5.3.12.0 and upper is 5.3.12.10

    To add to the fun there is no SP10 for AIX 5.3, there was a Power8 Enablement for AIX 5.3 that lifted the kernel to 5.3.12.10.  But it looks like that was skipped as we have no one using AIX 5.3 on Power 8 hardware.

    Is this a package area or is it expecting that you installed the Power8 updates?
