  • 1.  Issue with Filters in DQM COGNOS 11.1.3

    On our development server we upgraded from 11.1.2 to 11.1.3, and have run into an issue with all DQM packages.  All of our DQM packages throw the error "XQE-GEN-0018 Query Service internal error has occurred, please see the log for details.", however the log is generic and throws no helpful message.  This error only occurs when our row level security filters are applied, if removed the data retruns as expected.  We are using Oracle and OJDBC driver version 8 and ORACLE 18C.  We have alos tried OJDBC drivers 6 and 7 and got same error.  The package and filters are exactly the same as our production ones (11.0.13) and our prior devel ones (11.1.2) and worked just fine.  This enviromnet was installed over the top of the 11.1.2 so none of the underlying settings, hardware, has changed. The same tables and filters do work fine in CQM mode.  I have opened a support ticket but they also seem to be stuck, so hoping someone here might know an answer.

    This is an example of the filter causing the issue.

    Did you provide support the java stack trace which is recorded with the XQE-GEN error logged into <cognos>\logs\xqe folder?
