    The mentioned Messages point me to a running X-Server on the Machine.
    Maybe the machine was connected via X-Client and X-Terminal?

    I presume I'm using the right terminal : it's on the default serial port usually used for terminal (the first one), and moreover, when we tried to reboot the server, we could see lot's of messages on it (as your can see on the attached file - sorry, mostly in french). Finally, there is nothing on the second serial port ^^

    About the settings, I used 9600 bds, no parity, 8 bits, no parity, 1 bit stop and Xon/xoff (as I was told by a bull technician). So it looks like the same than the one on your link.

    Did you type 0 at the moment, when the message appears on yout Terminal?

    Instead of pressing 0 to access SMS menu (or even to get active console), I press 5.

    That brings me to a diagnostic menu that allows me somewhere to access to a console (which was working ;)
