It's a "known" defect, specially if your iSeries doen't run US-English primary language.

Fix is available, I am not sure right know in wifch fixpack, but I can check.

What is the VRM of MQ en iSeries in your installation ?

Sorry for the delay, I am now back at home with all my stuff ...

I got the same error on April 19 on a french iSeries running 9.2.0.1.
I opened a PMR (PMR 54671,650,706) an got an APAR.?? The number for that is SE71043.

With consistent English language settings, all commands run. But, trying to run with other languages may result in unpredictable output.  Example output of command strmqweb strmqweb sed: 001-2272 Error in file "s/^\([a-zA-Z0-9_][a-zA-... line 1: character 1 not defined in the regular  dspmqweb may show output unreadable output for several lines instead of two lines of output containing the URLs to access the MQ Web Console.

The defect was suppposed to be fixed in 9.1.0.3.

I suggest you open a case with referencing the APAR above. You should be probably able to get the iFix.
