    Hi All,

    How to install the ISO image of sds 6.4 in AIX 7.2? Can anyone give the steps involve in this installation.

    Hi Kalyan,

    You'll need to mount the ISO image into your AIX system so that you can access the files.  Once this is done, you should be able to follow the installation instructions from the product documentation site:

    AIX 7.2 is supported with these notes (from the requirements documentation):
    ---
    Support on AIX 7.2 is available from IBM Security Directory Server 6.4.0.4 and above.
    The Korn shell is required.
    IBM XL C/C++ V13.1.0.1 or later is required.
    32bit client is supported.
    Only client is supported in shared install configuration, not the server. Client is installed in global area and run from shared system WPAR.
    Server is supported for detached WPAR only. Client is supported for both shared and detached WPAR.
    ---

    Current fixpack is something like 6.4.0.24... you should use current fixpack version to avoid hitting known issues.

    During the DB2 installation I am not able see the db2licm in this location /opt/IBM/db2/V10.5/bin. Could you please tell me how to achieve this in order to apply the license.

    Hi Kalyan, 

    Check the below locations for db2licm

    /opt/IBM/db2/V10.5/adm 

    or

    INSTHOME/sqllib/adm/

    INSTHOME is the home directory of instance owner.
