  • 1.  ISAM AAC SCIM Custom Attributes

    We currently have ISAM AAC enabled for SCIM 2.0 but we are unable to add custom attributes. Our directory has a lot of custom attributes that we would like to map as part of the SCIM provisioning. Does ISAM currently support that?

    Hello Michael,
    I've had the same issue some month ago. The only option is to map your custom attributes to existing SCIM attributes. That's done easily with the LMI. The SCIM schema is fixed. Also you can't use more than one SUFFIX.

    Hi Michael,

    The workaround that Jens suggested will work, but I would also suggest opening an RFE for this item so we can gauge interest for adding fully fledged custom attribute support.

    Thanks for the update, I have requested an RFE to be created. The challenge here is I have quite a few Custom attributes that I need to map to and unfortunately non of the generic attributes provided by AAC SCIM would even remotely describe the attribute. It would actually create more confusion.

    Extending the SCIM schema seems to be a standard offering from other competing products. Is there a reason why this is not in the roadmap already?

    Hi Michael,

    This is something we're definitely aware of, and is in our roadmap, however we request RFE's to track and gauge the importance and demand of this feature across our broader customer set and gauge it against the hundreds of other enhancements/features in our roadmap.
