  • 1.  Is there a way to display only the summary rows in a list?

    Hi all,
            Is there a way to display only the summary rows in a list?  Or perhaps I need to build the report in a different way, with somehow pulling the summary information from an intermediate list.

    Hi Jim

    One way to do this is to mark the list column body and set the Box type to none. This will only show you the headers and the summary row

    Jim Denton – this appears to be a duplicate post, but nonetheless I will try to answer.  Generally speaking, summary rows to me is just a relative term.  Correct me if I am wrong, but what you are trying to do is just develop a list report that shows an aggregate based on a specified list of attributes.

     

    How I usually approach this type of request is to:

    -       Develop a query first, aggregated to a specified level

    -       Then create a list report, that references the query developed in the above step

    Hi Jim,

    Have you tried the data table, depending on what and how you want to display the measures, repeaters can also be a good solution,
