    I have two AIX servers, same OS version etc, on one machine.  I installed xlc evaluation version long back and already used it for 74 max days (including 14 days evaluation extension) while on the other server the evaluation license still has 50 days , so is it possible to copy this license from second machine to the first one ?  I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the evaluation xlc on the first machine but it didnt worked. please guide.

    Because these compiler products are licensed per user, not per system, nothing needs to be done with regard to the compiler licenses when moving from one system to another. All that is required is for the full licensed compiler package to be installed on the new system.
