  • 1.  Is IBM SDS can be installed on Windows Server 2019?

    Hi IBM SDS team,
    • Could Windows Server 2019 be used to install IBM's SDS?
    • Will the license/support agreement(s) are impacted if the servers (Windows 2012r2/Windows 2016/Windows 2019) are changed for IBM's SDS?
    • What is the latest Windows Server version supported to install IBM's SDS?
    • Are there any known issues or problems exist with Windows server 2019 for IBM's SDS, IBM WAS , IBM Java SDK and IBM DB2 software's?

    Hello Latha,
    At this time, SDS 6.4 (current SDS version on open stack operating systems) is NOT supported on Windows 2019. From SDS side we are still waiting on supported DB2 version that we can use on Windows Server 2019.

    You can use any of the supported operating systems as per SDS 6.4 Detailed System Requirements for Windows.

    I suggest you to open a RFE against both SDS and DB2, if you want them to be supported on Windows Server 2019.
