Hi there folks,

I just noticed something that my IS does’nt not ask me for my password anymore and simply logs me in.

First i thought the password was saved or cached.
I tried to clear it but that didnt work , so I installed Chrome( which i never had in the past) and i tried to login to my IS and my server logged me in without any credentials.

Any idea whats going on folks?

What version of IS are you running and what’s the latest fix you have installed? I heard of someone having the same issues after installing IS Core Fix 29 for IS 7.1.2.

I did that on a browser I never had before.
Ive tried killing session too. Doesnt work…any other suggestions ?

We have 4 instances , we are seeing this on 2 instances…rest are OK…and I dont have core fix 29 installed. I have 23 but not 29.

Has anyone made any changes to the .access file in WmRoot/pub? Any changes to the ACLs recently?

no that I know of…
no i dont think anyone has been messing around with .access

check in file config/acls.conf
true
if it’s true, i won’t require authentication,
change defAccess to false
