    Hi everybody,

    after newly installing an IS instance with a fresh empty database and running the dbConfiguratorUI.sh to set up the new configuration we are getting this block of statements in roughly 15-second intervals in the server.log:

2010-07-14 12:01:17 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Loading phase: [phaseID, phaseName] [miePhaseOne, miePhaseOne]
2010-07-14 12:01:17 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Initializing components of: miePhaseOne
2010-07-14 12:01:17 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Loading phase: [phaseID, phaseName] [miePhaseTwo, miePhaseTwo]
2010-07-14 12:01:17 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Initializing components of: miePhaseTwo
2010-07-14 12:01:17 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Initializing components of: cluster
2010-07-14 12:01:18 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Initializing server: $cds
2010-07-14 12:01:18 MEST [CommonLib.MWS.0002I] Initializing components of: global

    We have currently no MWS running.

    Any ideas where this comes from and how to stop it?

    That’s because you have configured CentraUsers JDBC pool, and if you have no MWS I bet you don’t need that pool.

    Remove pool definition and that’s it. If you have the pool defined it must point to MWS database instance.
