    Hi Wendy,

                   Do we schedule IP-to-Host aliasing on each collector or just on CM. We have scheduled IP-to-Host aliasing to run on only CM but still getting IP's on our Enterprise report. We are using Guardium version 10.5 on appliance.

    Hi @farah zabe:

    We schedule 'IP-to-Host Aliasing' to run on every unit.  It is a configuration that's available to push down from the CM thorough 'Distribute Configuration Profiles'.

    'IP-to-Host Aliasing' is also dependent on your DNS repository, so if the server doesn't have a DNS entry at the time 'IP-to-Host Aliasing' runs you will see the IP until the DNS is in and 'IP-to-Host Aliasing' runs.  Timing is something that you should consider as well and will be particular to your requirements.  We run it once per day and there have been times when we've seen the IP until 'IP-to-Host Aliasing' runs the following day.  Something we are ok with, but you may decide to run it more frequently.
