Can anyone describe the process of using the loop step in the I/O Adapter?

You are a bit vague with regards to info. Do you write or read a file? When reading, you’d typically have a FilePoll operation, a DelimitedInput operation thereafter processing the file, and you’d loop over the DelimitedInput operation in order to do with the individual rows what you need to do.

Don’t know which version of the adapter you’re using, but make sure your service packs are up to date.
