    First, you ought to consider upgrading to HMC V5R1 or HMC V5R2. Either one offers a "wizard" that will go capture system firmware and adapter microcode information. You might take a look here:

You put in a diskette and proceed. That's how it looks at HMC 5.1 and HMC 5.2. I don't have an HMC 4.5 system left to check. If that's not what you're asking, I'm afraid I don't understand what you're after.
