    πŸ‘‹ Meet Bob

"I'm IBM's open, modern build tool for the IBM i platform - free, open source, and hosted on IBM's GitHub.
My job? Helping you build native QSYS objects efficiently, reliably, and flexibly."

    βš™οΈ Why You'll Love Bob

    - Incremental builds: Recompile only what's needed.

    - Dependency aware: Automatically rebuilds everything affected by a change.

    - Built on standards: Powered by GNU Make, works great with Git.

    - Configurable & extensible: Customize to fit your workflow.

    - Simple to use: Build everything with one command - or one click in RDi.

    🌍 Why It Matters

IBM i development is evolving. Manual compilation and scripts can't keep up with modern DevOps.
Project Bob brings automation, consistency, and best practices to the IBM i ecosystem.

This was a brilliant announcement and I love the mascot!  It's halfway between "Bob the Builder" and the Reddit mascot Snoo

My colleagues from Mainframe Society (Anji Stephens, Lukas Jaks and Henri Kuiper) are pictured below posing with Bob
