  • 1.  Intermittent connect drops

    Hi Community,

We are doing basic TCP healthcheck on port without any payload to confirm DataPower availibilty.

It's only port based healthcheck and we are getting intermittent drops although we are not seeing any abnormalities like high CPU, memory, load etc on appliance.

Can you suggest some tweaks need to be made to deal this.

    Sunil,

Have you checked for IP conflicts in the network?

    Hi Joseph,

Hope you mean if there is any conflict of the Data or management IP across the different Ethernet interfaces!
If that is the case, there is no conflicts.

Also, I checked the "Network Interface", there is no conflict or duplication of entry of our ManagementIP across Ethernet Interfaces.

Can you monitor the ARP table on the device that is health checking the DP?

Have you confirmed the FSH, or whatever listener you're using on DP, opStatus remains up whilst polling device thinks it's down?

I meant there and anywhere else on the same network as the appliance or appliances.   Anything else listening on the same IP could cause such an issue.
