I am facing an issue while starting the integration server, it is stuck at “Package Manager started”.Please advice what needs to be done, below is the log for the same:

Hi Srijansil,

can you provide your IS version (with Fixes, if any applied)?

Is there anything in the log-file of the Wrapper or in the output of the terminal?

How long did you wait?
Sometimes certain steps in the initialization take longer than expected.

The IS version I am using is 6.5. I have tried couple of times and waited long, but still the server is stuck at “Package Manager started”

6.5 is fairly old and no longer supported by SAG.

Please consider to choose a more recent version 9.5 or newer.
Latest available is 9.9 released in October 2015.

Please provide the first lines of the server log which contains the complete version number.

Yes I would also suggest to move to 8.x (mostly out of support ) or 9.x.x (current support)

No more legacy wM 6.5 installs…

If it still stuck, try to Kill the server process (PID or java.exe) Before you start clean up the files in the folder

Make sure you have OS enough memory available to bring up the IS6.5 (with sufficient jvm heap settings) and check the logs as it boots up.

From the IS bin folder, use the below command. And also share the number of user defined packages you have under IS/packages folder.

How many custom packages do you have? Is it dev or prod?

Looking at the exception, it looks like related to password handles. It seems the password for some handle is null for publisher connection.

For me the issue is resolved once I removed the following files from the \config folder and restarted the server.
