I have installed webMethods 10.15 recently
But integration server is not getting started.

This indicates you started the server using startDebugMode.sh|bat.
Try using startup.sh|bat.

I tried to start it be startup.sh but it did not start that is why I used startDebugMode.sh to start so that I can see the errors.

Also can you check if you are already running it as deamon? systemctl list-unit-files | grep sag will return all the softwareag related deamons. From there check status of the deamon sagis... (should be something similar to sag1is1015) if exists with the command systemctl status {name of the deamon, ie sag1is1015}.

You can start the deamon by systemctl start sag1is1015. If it says it is enabled, then it means it is running on boot automatically. If it doesn’t work, add server.log here for better assistance. By default Integration Server uses port 5555 for admin UI and 9999 for diagnostics port. Also check if either or both are enabled by running lsof -i:5555
to see if they are already open.

By using systemctl list-unit-files | grep sag command

Check status of the deamon.

The startDebugMode.sh errors are mostly to do with the JVM waiting for a debugger to be attached.
Can you please share the wrapper log messages when you run the startup.sh?

These are not IS deamons. You don’t need to run startdebug.sh file. Please use startup.sh to run and then please share the server.log and wrapper.log files.

If the last message in the wrapper log is

and IS isn’t coming up. I would suggest you check in another installation/ node with same version/fixes.
If the issue still persisits, then I would suggest that you raise a support ticket in the absence of logs.

I have done a fresh installation again .

now my iNTEGRATION SERVER is getting up but its taking about 30 to 45 min which is more than usual also I am able to get the server logs.

server startup time depends on the number of packages(and their sizes of course) and your min/max heap values and number of cores. I assume you installed on to the same server so number of cores shouldn’t affect startup time. For start, you can set your min and max heap sizes to same values and you can disable the packages you don’t need. You can check the links below for performance tuning.

I checked your server.log file. You have monitor db connection not set properly and possibly you didn’t create the necessary tables or didn’t connect them properly. Most of them are easy to fix but there are lots of problems. I recommend searching those error messages directly in empower and applying the solution, and ask for help if that solution doesn’t fix or you can’t apply it for some reason. You should clean the error messages as much as you can and then ask for help afterwards if you can’t fix it yourself.
