At present in our Bigfix/ILMT infrastructure, We are having production, development and acceptance clients all pointing to a common bigfix server. As per the business owner, we need to do the tagging just to differentiate all of them while pulling the audit report. I had found a manual way but it is very time consuming and we have to do it everytime when a new software is identified, Can this be automated?

There is also an option to add/remove tags using REST API. Have you tried this method ?
