For instana Docker installation, can instana with it's configurations , collected metrics and events be migrated to openshift?

Will we lose any of instana configurations or collected metrics or events?

Can you share a documentation for the migration steps.

Hi Mohamed, thanks for noticing our recent OpenShift support for self hosting the Instana backend that, which was announced in September here.  We are deploying very large scale customers and working through initiatives now in engineering to improve that experience.  Some of our Docker hosted customers have already been working with the Instana technical team to manually move to the OpenShift backend.  We intend to use that experience and create a documented migration path in the future, but this will take further engineering time to make it a smooth process.  However if you or others want to get started on a manual move to OpenShift, please reach out, we can discuss this further.
