    We have adopted OpenTelemetry standard for logs, traces and metrics in the developing of our customers' services we would like to integrate them with Instana 
    In the documentation all the efforts are described but I need to know exactly what I can see and use in Instana. and which will be the roadmap

    Hi Carla, it's great to hear that you have adopted the OpenTelemetry standard. 

    Currently the Instana Agent supports ingestion of OTLP traces and metrics. The Instana SaaS serverless acceptor for traces is in open beta, and the serverless acceptor for metrics is coming to open beta soon. Our roadmap includes full support for all three signal types in both the agent and the serverless acceptor. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the various options for ingesting OTLP in Instana!

    Hi Josh, there is a very well done demo app in OpenTelemetry site and it will be a great exercise to give  instruction in order to integrate the  demo application OpenTelemetry metrics and traces into the Instana console

    It should be a good way to learn and practice these new features.

    Do you think it will be possible? and in which time?
