    Team,

    We are installing Python v3.9.18 and gcc11 v11.3.0 on AIX 7.2 DB2 boxes as pre-requisite for our inhouse developed Multi platform DB2 LUW Python tool kit.  To complete our du diligence we are not able to find published gcc11 requirement for our situation anywhere.

    Are Python v3.9.18 and gcc11 v11.3.0 on AIX 7.2 compatible and we can proceed with installation.

    Team,

    I was told gcc v11.3.0 is higher/latest- gcc are backwards compatible - they have to be by their design - we are good to go. 

    Do you foresee any compatibility issue. Please advise.
