    Hi Folks
I have managed to install PA 2.0.9.3 on Centos Linux 8, but I cannot run cogconfig.sh
I keep getting this error :

    [root@servername bin64]# ./cogconfig.sh

Any ideas as to how to resolve this error ?.
I can see a similar error relating to ZLIB_1.2.9 with Cognos Analytics here :

When I first tried Centos (after IBM dropped support for Ubuntu) I naturally went to the main torrent and picked up the current version (8.x) and found it didn't work. My understanding is that you need Centos 7, which is what I now run on my R&D/testing setup.

    Hello,

I confirm that CENTOS 8 is not the best for planning analytics. And for PAW you must use the CENTOS 7 or it will not work. As I understant IP table don't work with 7.

Thanks @David Usherwood and @Frederic Arevian for your guidance and experience here - I will go back to Centos 7 and try again !.

I have no need for firewalling myself - but I see lots of links explaining how to get iptables working with Centos 7.
