When we run the installation CD, in the Installation Settings it only shows the two internal disks, but not the external ones.     SMS can't find a boot block, so it does not list them as a bootable.

    Have you bootded off CDROM and in the Installation Menu's looks for target disks to install on too?

    The second most sommon problem is out of date firmware and installing the latest AIX or Linux version!!

    It works well. I used 7017-S80 and 7014-H70.
    I recommand to upgrade f/w.
