  • 1.  Install Cognos on Centos7

    Hi Team,

    I am installing Cognos 11.1.1 using docker Centos7. I am facing errors related as follows.

    • IBM Cognos" service fails to start correctly (with "CFG-ERR-0106", "CAM-CRP-1095 Unable to find the encryption certificate with alias 'encryption'", "The certificate alias encryption..." errors) caused by expired cryptographic keys
    • IPFUpgrade::checkDBUpgrade() - Failed to connect to jdbc:sqlserver://*****com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Reason: Login failed due to client TLS version being less than minimal TLS version allowed by the server.

    Do i need to install Specific Java version for this to be fixed for this Cognos11.1.1.?

    If so, please suggest steps to install java and also setting up JAVA_HOME var if required.
