Inserting records into Siebel

  • 1.  Inserting records into Siebel

    Hi,
Iam trying to insert a record into Position component. The fields i need to populate are just Name & Position Start date. SO i created a Insert Service. In that i selected Postion as the Object Name & again Position as the Component name. I dint select any MVL field, In the insert tab i inserted a row & clicked the combo box. I cld see lot of fields related to Accounts are also listed, But when i see this position Object in siebel interface only 5 to 6 fields are required.

I dont understand why accounts related fields are listed when i select Position Object alone.
What is the use of Additional Bussines component Combo in a insert service.

    Pls reply…

Iam using Siebel Adapter 6.0 which connects to Siebel 7.5.3 & IS 6.1
