Hi,

We need to insert large numeric value into database table.
The inout value is numeric value but in databse it is defined as float datatype for soem reason with size 8. If we insert integervalu less than 8 digits it is working fine. but anything above this value it is storing in database with exponential value.
Example if input is 3300000000000000 then in database it is storing it as 3.29999986982912E14 .
One way is to increse the size in DB.

Is there nay other way to work around this problem.
Can anyone help me in finding what exactly the problem is and please let me knwo the solution for this…
