In the aforementioned section of InformixHQ I can look for sessions owned by user "joe". I can do the same with onstat -g ses | grep joe. But in that same grep command I can also say: onstat -g ses | grep -v informix if I want to see all but informix sessions.

What is the syntax for negating a username - like informix - in InformixHQ?  I wanted see all sessions but those of informix.

the "Search" option offered by those reports apparently isn't the same as a full fledged filter option, ideally by column ...

I quickly drafted an internal story to implement some useful filtering, but it shouldn't hurt to also have an AHA item (feature request) where you, and others, could specify what kind of functionality you'd like to see there.
