I expect that there are multiple ways to get here, but this worked for me:

Go here: https://www.ibm.com/products/informix 

Click on "Try the Developer Edition"

You'll need to fill in the Business Contact Information and press Submit (note this didn't display in Edge for me, but showed up okay in Chrome)

Login with your credentials (you likely already have these to post here)

Then you should be able to browse for it

Just sidling up to this convo to mention that you should be able to get a recent 15.0.1 developer edition using this same mechanism. 15.0.0.2 is so 2025.

The latest Developer Edition available on the IBM site is 15.0.0.1. The latest Evaluation Edition on the HCL site is 15.0.1.4.

Indeed the latest Informix available anywhere that I can find is the Production Enterprise Edition on the HCL site for licensed users is 15.0.1.8!

It looks like 15.0.2.0 has not passed QA far enough to be posted yet.

Thanks John - pleasure to see you jumping in. 

I talked with a contact at HCL and she said they only sell/post the full version(s), so not the Developer Edition. Odd eh? We are again (as always) faced with "where do I download stuff?" ... I remember this being awful for clients back in the 90's. 

The DE I downloaded for Linux ... does it require an installer file? Naw - haven't untar'd it yet. Recall that when I tried to download the installer file I got a 404/page not found. I thought 14 changed the install method to require the product tar AND an installer file? Can someone set me straight?
