    Dave the Destroyer strikes again...

    Informix installation issues 14.10.FC11W1 and Version 15!!

    These are on Rocky Linux 8.10 

    1. Both installation create an instance using the discontinued parameter MIRROR set to 0!

    attn: Ignoring unknown or deprecated config parameter (MIRROR)

    2.  Version 15 also complains about LOG_BACKUP_MODE

    attn: Ignoring unknown or deprecated config parameter (LOG_BACKUP_MODE)

    2. Version 15 the AETL edition installer does not work!

    This is using openjdk-21.0.2_linux-x64_bin.tar.gz:

    Hi,

    FYI Saw this on v15 with a 4 core VM and AUTO_TUNE_SERVER_SIZE  set to SMALL.

    22:36:49  Dynamically added 1 cpu VP
    22:36:50  ** AUTO TUNING - Added CPU VP.

    What are the thresholds for this happening?

    David could you just quickly confirm that neither MIRROR nor LOG_BACKUP_MODE exist in your V15 $INFORMIXDIR/etc/onconfig.std file? They should not be there. Assuming that's the case and your fresh V15 install results in a generated config file that includes them, then we've got an installer issue that we'll fix for the Q1 release. Thanks.

    Hi David,

    You will have success with JAVA 11 or 17. The problem is with JAVA 21. I had the same problem. I can't answer why this is happening.

    Мaybe we need better clarification about JAVA versions for installation of Informix server, CSDK, JDBC and InformixHQ.
