The tools you mentioned are all good ones. Most GUI SQL tools will work with Informix, though to get best support from some you may have to implement the standard ODBC catalog tables.

Hi all,
I'm curious what tools users who use Informix DB use when running SQL in a GUI environment.
Until now, when I visited a client, their developers and system administrators were using programs such as Aqua Data Studio, AGS Server Studio, DBeaver, Squirrel SQL, and WinSQL. Of course, some users use DB-access in a terminal window.
I'm usually used to Terminal screen, so I rarely use GUI tools(I love Cygwin), but customers are always asking if there are any tools that are more convenient than they are currently using.
My personal opinion is that IBM Data Studio is a good alternative, but it feels heavier in terms of runtime or installation capacity than the tools mentioned above. And the feature to view Informix explain plans seems to be limited compared to Db2.
Are there any other GUI tools except those mentioned above?
