Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is there a patch for this problem available or has this been addressed in a service pack? Once the problem starts with a .msd, the IFD will crash quite a few times before we finally get the change made and saved.

How many maps in the system? Have the map source files been upgraded to 8.0?
When was the last time the workstation was rebooted? What OS and SP level?

In Message Manager and all other systems, if part of the command is listed and part is in a resource, the alias is never resolved. This can be seen with each of the DB output cards in EAudit_Inbound and all other maps that have a DB adapter that contains a resource.

    Is this a known issue?

In regards to your questions about the crashing, the system we were attempting to change has just 2 maps in it. We were trying to change just the server and queue information in a GET command for one of the inputs. The maps were created in 8.0, so an upgrade wasn't necessary. The machine was rebooted earlier today. Windows XP is the OS with SP2.

We also tried to resource the entire command and just parts of it. Neither scenario worked. I will contact support about the problem.
