Idocs loaded via ALE to SAP not loading with data fields

What product/components do you use and which version/fix level? IS 10.7

Are you using a free trial or a product with a customer license? License

What are trying to achieve? Please describe in detail. I’m trying to load an IDOC we convert from a flat file IDOC and load into SAP via ALE. The call is working fine and all the segments are listed but some of the segments have no data in them when looking in SAP (we02) although we see the data going out from the flow service. What could be causing this?? Has anyone ever seen something like that? The last two steps of the flow are pub.sap.idoc.documentToIdoc and then pub.sap.transport. ALE:OutboundProcess

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file. No errors at all. Everything looks to be working correctly

Have you installed latest fixes for the products Yes

Complete shot in the dark here, but perhaps double-check the names of the segments. Perhaps there is a hard-to-see extraneous space. Or a character that looks like another.

Screen shots showing the fields in the payload sent vs the fields in SAP (masking out any private/sensitive data) may be helpful.

    Hi,

additionally you can lookup the IDoc Type in the SAP Adapter and/or create an IS DocType in Designer via SAP DocType plugin to check the names.

    Regards,
