    We are excited to announce that ZD&T v12.0.0 is generally available - z/OS DevOps soars into the cloud.

    Organizations can benefit from the cost advantages of a distributed development and test environment and accelerated development offered by proven practices such as Agile, Lean and SAFe. It includes fixes for open issues and the following new enhancements:

    • Powered by cloud integration features
    • Streamline your DevOps process by using the ZD&T RESTful APIs
    • New software-based license for an Authorized User Single Session charge metric
    • Flashcopy of volumes during extraction
    • Unused space is removed from extracted volume files
    • New z/OS 2.3 software distribution.
    • New z14 compatibility. It includes the z Personal Development Tool (zPDT) V1.8.1 software, which offers:
      • Support for z14 CPU Architecture
      • CFCC Level 22
      • Support for z/OS V2.3
      • Vitual DASD Modernization Phase I
      • MIDAW support
      • OSAsupport for Linux on z kvm guest
      • Free zIIPS
      • Supports pervasive encryption
